Pantone’s artworks are often used to present a representation of our living reality, it examines the way we consume visual information in this current day and age.
“15 years ago we used to have walkman’s, with cassettes. Now we have iPhones with all the information in the world, immediately available in our pockets for free. The world has changed a lot in such a short time, this is a huge interest of mine”. - Pantone telling Under-Dogs.net
On his website he notes that he has influence from previous kinetic artists such as Victor Vasarely and Carlos Cruz-Diez.
A way of explaining Pantone’s work is he explores time and technology in a post-internet world, almost as a cross road of technology and fine art.
His past exhibitions have included various softwares which are then translated into frescoes, murals, paintings and of course sculptures; to which they all promise to merit what’s going on in the digital world.
